May not be the best, but can run some pretty good games with high graphics.

Waiting for summer to end...
It starts, and I'm so excited.
Then, I get bored.
Yes, bored of summer.
So, I'm waiting for the last few weeks of summer to end, and school to start again.
...I hear Australia has ten weeks of summer? o.0
Or was it that other place... I dunno.
Either way. 10 weeks! O:

Today, at around 7:00 AM, June 18th, 2009, Billy Mays was found dead in his home.
"He was a passenger aboard a plane that suffered a blown front tire upon landing. He told a local TV station, "All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."

We're told Mays was at his home around 6:00 PM last night, and according to a source Mays was "acting fine and normal ..." Dead at the age of 50.

From what I know, Michael Jackson died on June 25th, 2009.
"Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive..."

Sorry I haven't been posting. I had another blog before this one, (http://my.opera.com/Veloxio/blog) I tried to post on both of them, and that was a failure (with school and all.) but now that it's summer...

By the way, did I mention...?

It's SUMMER! WOOOOOT.

No more school, and I promise to go on my DeviantART, my blogs, and GaiaOnline more often.
yeah, I just realized you probably don't know what half of those are. anyways.

June is here! Not much to say, except... END OF SCHOOL YEAR!
So what if my post is a little late?
Anyways.
I absolutely can't wait until summer! Sure, I had a great 08-09 year, but summer's always great.
Maybe taking a couple of classes, going to band camp, going off, maybe to the Philippines, or somewhere...
What are you doing this summer? Anything exciting?
Okay. To tell you the truth, my summers are mostly boring. But, I'll be going in a camp sometime in August, or so...
So, yeah.

Star Trek.

Hmm.

I just saw the new Star Trek movie last night, and me and a friend of mine watched it.
Apparently my friend, who never was that much of a fan, is now a Trekkie.

My review:

It was a very good movie, several of the cast members looked and acted the same as the original crew (Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Scottie, Sulu, Chekov), and I was amazed by the graphics. Such a big leap from the original series and movies.
The story was excellent, as since some of the characters somehow went back in time, and now everything from the original series and movies are nothing the same, as the time was changed.
I also loved how a certain member of the original crew was in this movie...
I won't ruin too much for you if you're going to watch it, but I would recommend it.

My rating:

Graphics: 10/10
Acting: 10/10
Make-Up: 9/10
Story: 10/10
Choices of actors/actresses: 10/10

The only part I didn't like however, is the "action camera". Certain scenes, you couldn't really make out the battles, and certain people (with vertigo symptoms, easy dizziness,) should close their eyes for those scenes.

But, all in all, a very good movie.

Watch it, now. I can't really explain it, and I am 100% sure that some, if not most of you, will disagree with these views, or you may not understand the message in it.

It's about YouTube. Yes, someone reading this is now thinking, "YouTube? What does this have to do with anything? At all? How did it.. 'Open your eyes'?

Yep, it's finally May. For some of us, the school year is coming to an end (soon-ish), for those of us who work, Summer! No more cold winter days, shoveling your driveway, etc.
Just so you know, I'm going to 100% (Unless I'm dying in the hospital) going to post on the first day of every month, even New Year's Day.

May, May, May. And then comes June! Which reminds me... I love to sing-a, about the moon-a and the June-a and the Spring-a...
Sorry. Had an old cartoon flashback there.

Unfortunately for me however, I probably won't be going anywhere this weekend, except to get an iPod. So, as usual, I stay home and stay stuck to my computer or I'm out at the park.

Anyways. I can't think of anything else to talk about for the start of May.

Music.

Music.
It's a beautiful thing, isn't it?
We listen to it during times or misery, happiness, anger, hyperactiveness..
And the ways we listen to it are remarkable, aren't they?
We started with simple rock crashing and snapping sticks.. We created bongos, drums, etc...
We created the wooden instruments, the brass instruments, the strings, and so on.
We created recording studios and such, Mp3s, iPods, computers, online and offline communities, and the list goes on.

Why do we listen to music? For pleasure? To keep our minds off things? Out of simple boredom, for entertainment?
And the styles of music, of course. Techno, Rock, Prog, Jazz, Classical, Pop, Disco, Metal, Nu-Metal, Rock N' Roll, and I could go on forever.

Music. An amazing thing- no, an amazing experience.
We should be grateful we have such technology to create and listen to this music.

Now. My question-

What is the best but reasonably well-priced iPod out there?

The Awesome One

Hey.

I'm pretty new to blogging, I've only started one other blog, and that was a week or so ago.

I'll be ranting, posting reviews for games and things, telling everyone about my boring and normal-ish life, and random things.

While I may be a normal person, I am still awesome, because even being near me will cause you to explode, because of my awesomeness.

Yeah, I can be easily excitable sometimes, I can be randome, hyper, etc. I'm a bit nerdy, for example, I have about 5 browsers on my computer.
I'm a hardcore/casual gamer, I play things like Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, Counter Strike: Source, but I also play flash games and such.
I can be pretty chatty, when I'm in the mood, but I can also be pretty quiet, if I'm in the mood.
